auth_bind = yes

Change passdb; userdb untouched

# Authenticates by AD server
passdb {
  driver = ldap
  args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-ldap.conf.ext
}
# Retrieves user home directory, mail directory, uid, and gid 
userdb {
  driver = sql
  args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-sql.conf.ext
}

# systemctl restart dovecot
